Fungi are mushroom-like blocks that generate in the Nether. There are two types of fungi: crimson fungi and warped fungi.
Natural generation
Fungi naturally generate in the crimson forest and warped forest biomes. Crimson fungi most commonly generates in the crimson forest biome and warped fungi most commonly generates in the warped forest biome.
Obtaining
Fungi can be mined instantly with any tool or with no tool.
Usage
When bone meal is used on fungi that is planted on nylium, it will grow into its tall equivalent. Although it can be planted on soul soil, bone meal used on it will be wasted unless it is planted on nylium. Crimson and warped fungi will grow into crimson and warped huge fungi, respectively. It can only grow in the Overworld where there is a low light level.
